Pixel Power Up: Circle Search Lands on Pixel 7!

In exciting news for Pixel phone and watch users, Google announced the features coming in the March Pixel Feature Drop, available for download on March 11th. Pixel 7 owners are in for a treat, as the update will bring Google's innovative "Circle to Search" feature to their devices.

With the update, Pixel 7 users can simply long-press the home button or navigation bar and then draw a circle or scribble around anything on their screen – an image, text, or even a video – to instantly learn more about it. It's a powerful and user-friendly tool that sounds pretty cool indeed.

Call Screen is coming to all Pixel devices

Exciting news for Pixel users! The Call Screen feature, already a star on the Pixel 8 Pro, is getting even better and coming to all Pixel phones. Soon, you'll be able to use Google Assistant to manage your calls in various ways, like putting callers on hold. And if someone leaves you hanging, you'll even get a notification.

Upload larger videos and photos to Instagram

Pixel users rejoice! Google has finally caught up to Samsung by allowing Pixel phones to record and upload stunning 10-bit HDR videos directly to Instagram Reels. Additionally, you can now share your beautiful Ultra HDR photos straight to your Instagram feed. This is a welcome update, especially considering Samsung offered this feature first on their latest Galaxy phones.

Upgrades for the original Pixel Watch

The March Feature Drop brings a wave of features previously exclusive to the latest model. This week, you'll gain access to advanced workout tracking features like heart rate zones, auto-start/stop functionality, and even guided breathing exercises from the Fitbit Relax app. Plus, navigating your city just got easier with the ability to search for public transit directions directly on your wrist using Google Maps.

Beyond the watch, the Feature Drop empowers you with more control over what you share during screen sharing on Pixel devices from the Pixel 5a (5G) onwards. And for those who love taking notes, Google Docs is gaining a new markup feature that lets you add handwritten notes using a stylus or your finger. Pixel Tablet users will also enjoy a new Gboard voice toolbar, decluttering the screen for a more streamlined experience.
