How to See All the Devices Logged in to Your Microsoft Account

Have you ever logged into your Microsoft account on a friend's computer and then totally forgotten about it? We've all been there! That's why it's important to occasionally do a quick security check.

Here's a simple but effective way to boost your account's safety: see how many devices are currently signed in. If you've used a bunch of different computers over the years, there might be more than you expect!

This check can help you spot two things: strangers who might have gotten into your account (yikes!), and old devices you don't even use anymore (like that Xbox you sold years ago). Ideally, your Microsoft account should only be connected to things you use regularly.

Luckily, getting rid of unrecognized or unused devices is super easy – you can remove them with just a few clicks from anywhere. This is a good practice for all your online accounts, by the way! How to see all the devices using your Microsoft account

Hey there! Want to see all the gadgets signed in with your Microsoft account? You can't do it directly from Windows yet, but it's easy on the web. Just head over to your Microsoft account page. This is where you'll see your profile info, subscriptions like Microsoft 365, and even where you're located (don't worry, it's not that creepy!).

To find your signed-in devices, click on "Devices." This will mostly show Windows computers, tablets, and any Xbox you're logged into. Scroll down a bit, and you'll also see a link to check which phones and tablets (Android and iOS) are connected with your account.

Curious about a specific device? Just click on it for more details. You might see things like the device's specs, when you signed in with your Microsoft account, or even warranty info. For some devices, you can even click "Find my device" to see its location on a map – handy if you ever misplace your laptop!

Remove unauthorized devices from your Microsoft account

This information can be your first line of defense against suspicious activity. For instance, you can see the last time each device accessed your account. If you notice something unfamiliar, don't hesitate to click "Remove this device" to disconnect it from your Microsoft account. Remember, you can always sign back in later if it's a device you still use.

Take a moment to explore the Security tab while you're here. Click "Manage how I sign in" to set up additional security measures like two-step verification or password-free access. These features make it much harder for anyone else to access your Microsoft account. By the way, if you ever lose track of your device, you can also use the "Find my device" feature to locate it on a map.
